Born at Toronto, Ontario, in 1955. Patrick has nearly 30 years of intellectual property law experience with clients ranging from individual entrepreneurs to multinational corporations. He has extensive experience in the filing and prosecution of mechanical and chemical patent applications and trade-mark applications, the preparation and negotiation of patent licenses, know-how licenses, secrecy agreements, cooperative licensing programs, technology development and joint development agreements. Patrick has been extensively Involved in the conduct and settlement of litigation involving patents, trade-marks, copyright and breach of confidentiality. During his long and distinguished career, Patrick has practiced IP law at both large corporate law firms and boutique law firms in downtown Toronto and Hamilton. He founded his own IP law practice in Burlington in 1991.
